This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished practitioner looking to play a strategic role in growing a dynamic practice while working alongside an entrepreneurial leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and advise clients on a broad range of general corporate, private equity, venture capital, M&A, and strategic investment transactions.
- Structure, negotiate, and execute complex domestic and cross-border transactions.
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships while delivering commercially focused legal advice.
- Mentor and develop associates and contribute to the overall growth of the Corporate Practice.
- Collaborate with partners across practice areas to provide integrated legal solutions.
- Contribute to the firm's business development initiatives and market positioning.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified lawyer with approximately 12+ years of post-qualification experience (flexible for the right candidate).
- Strong experience advising on General Corporate, PE/VC investments, M&A, joint ventures, shareholder arrangements, corporate restructurings, and commercial transactions.
- Currently a Partner, Salaried Partner, Counsel, or a senior Principal Associate on the path to partnership at a reputed law firm.
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead sophisticated transactions and manage client relationships.
- Strong commercial acumen, leadership skills, and a collaborative approach.
Book of Business
An existing portable book of business would be an advantage but is not a mandatory requirement. The firm is equally keen to meet high-quality practitioners with a strong market reputation, excellent technical capability, and the potential to build and expand a thriving practice.
